FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Adults Age 50+ Transition to Full Scope Medi-Cal
Sacramento, CA — April 13, 2022
Starting May 1, 2022, a new law in California will give full scope Medi-Cal to Californians ages 50 and older who qualify for Medi-Cal, regardless of immigration status. Given this change, applicants and members must be between the ages of 26 and 49 in order to qualify for Path to Health coverage.
Path to Health members impacted by this transition were sent a notice in the mail at the beginning of April. A copy of the notice can be found here.
